Room Information

Our B&B in the Lake District is comprised of 6 charming rooms. From large four-poster bed rooms to smaller twin rooms, we have a range of options which are suitable for all types of travellers. Our rooms are currently being refreshed and by 2021, every room will have been modernised and updated.

Breakfast is served daily and we provide a fully cooked breakfast option in addition to cereals, yoghurts and bread. We believe in using fresh, local ingredients, and so all of our sausages, bacon, milk, eggs and yoghurts are supplied from neighbouring farms.

 

 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing to book with Mosscrag Guest House. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions for booking below.

 

 

Prices

The price includes accommodation plus breakfast served between 8 and 9am. We accept the following forms of payment: cash, debit cards and credit cards.
 

Pets

Well behaved pets are permitted in rooms 6, 7, and 8 by prior arrangement at the cost of £6 per pet per night. For online bookings please note that payment for this will be required on arrival. Pets are not permitted on any furniture or to be left in the room unattended.
 

Cancellation

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 48h before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance, however if a deposit hasn't been taken and for bookings taken outside of our online booking system (including but not limited to; over the phone, in person etc), a cancellation fee of £25 per room per night will apply. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking before 6pm/agreed check in time on the first day of your booking, you will be liable for the full price of your booking.
 

Non-Availability

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
 

Force Majeure

In the event of a force majeure and we are unable to fulfil a booking, we will retain all monies that have been paid to us and, for those who have not paid a deposit, the cancellation fee will still apply. These monies will be issued as a credit that can be used against a future booking if made within 12 months of the original booking.
 

Arrival

Your accommodation is available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please let us know by phone call (017684 82500 or 07554 329429) or email if you need to check in either before 3pm or after 6pm.

Booking and payment

For bookings made before 23/03/2020, full payment is taken at the time of booking when using our online booking system. For bookings made on or after 23/03/2020, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is taken when booking with us using the online booking system. If you require a different arrangment or have any questions regarding payment options, please call and/or email.

Departure

Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.30am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
 

Damages and Breakages

Please take care when staying at our B&B in the Lake District. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we will charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
 

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises. If you or any member of your party smokes in your room or out of the window of your room, you will be charged a cleaning fee of £30 and may be charged for an additional night's stay as we cannot use the room for other guests for up to a week.
 

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
 

Data

Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer.
